Meet Ronda
kin•dred - one’s family and relations; a feeling of connectedness and belonging; family away from family
Ronda Monroe, LAPC
Psychotherapist | Speaker | Yoga Teacher
Hi, I’m Ronda! Throughout my career, I’ve sat in many seats. I have guided adults through the tender process of healing childhood trauma, helped couples unravel the attachment patterns that fuel disconnection, held space for yoga students to cultivate a more embodied self, and partnered with businesses to dismantle the systems that drive burnout and relational strain.
What I’ve learned is this: Healing and transformation exists in our interconnectedness and within our multifaceted nature.
Kindred stands as a response to the systems and cultural norms that ask us to cope alone, disconnect from ourselves, and “push through” by hiding our pain. I believe meaningful change happens yes in our solitude but also in relationship, in community, and in spaces where we feel genuinely understood. In moments where we encounter healing as an experience, not just as a concept.
The thread that runs through every offer at KCW is interconnectedness. Because beneath the roles, daily stressors, and the natural ebbs and flows of life, we are not separate people trying to do life on our own. In our humanness we exist together. When you are well, we all are well. And because of that, we are Kindred.

With over 4 years of experience as a mental health professional, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community-based mental health, private practice, and school-based corporate setting as an Employee Assistance Program counselor.
This has allowed me the privilege to work with clients as young as 6 years old to 65+ years old with concerns ranging from mood disorders, suicide ideation, acute trauma, behavioral issues, and more.
In couples counseling, I’ve worked with different relationship statuses and a range of concerns from those in newly committed relationships to 10 year marriages navigating communication issues, emotional and sexual intimacy, attachment issues, and more.
As a yoga instructor, I’ve led classes at a community center, university, and wellness event.

In my downtime, I enjoy being in nature! It truly grounds and calms me. Whether that’s going for a walk at the park, hiking in the mountains, lying down in the grass reading a good book, or tending to my plants and herbs garden.
