Meet Ronda
Ronda Monroe
Psychotherapist | Speaker | Life Coach | Yoga Instructor
I am currently seeing adult clients (18+) for individual, couple, and family therapy with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, grief, and more in the state of Georgia.
I specialize in relational trauma, parental hurt (mother/father wound), family dynamics, and attachment issues; working with clients who wish to navigate the complexities of difficult childhood experiences and dysfunctional family relationships. I also facilitate a Parental Hurt support group twice a year, offering a safe space for connection and healing. Additionally, as an Employee Assistance Program counselor, I help professionals who are experiencing burnout, stress, and career transitions in the corporate setting.
To acknowledge each client's individuality and specific needs, I pull from various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT), Narrative therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. Also, as a trauma-informed yoga instructor, I incorporate a somatic approach that emphasizes the mind-body connection through body awareness and mindfulness. For couple clients, I utilize Psychodynamic and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you and your partner break out of communication traps, foster emotional safety, and develop practical tools to manage the ebbs and flows of connection.
As your therapist, I hope to walk alongside you to encourage you, hold space for you, challenge you (we all need gentle accountability!), and equip you with the tools and self-awareness you need to create meaningful life changes.
Let's get started with a 15-minute consultation!

With over 4 years of experience as a mental health professional, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community-based mental health, private practice, and school-based setting as an Employee Assistance Program counselor.
This has allowed me the privilege to work with clients as young as 6 years old to 65+ years old with concerns ranging from mood disorders, suicide ideation, acute trauma, behavioral issues, and more.
In couples counseling, I’ve worked with different relationship statuses and a range of concerns. From those in newly committed relationships to 10 year marriages navigating communication issues, emotional intimacy, and more.
As a yoga instructor, I’ve led classes at a community center, university, and wellness event.

In my downtime, I enjoy being in nature, whether that’s walking, hiking, or just lying in the grass reading a good book or stargazing.
