Welcome to Kindred Counseling and Wellness
kin·dred - one's family and relations; a feeling of connectedness and belonging; family away from family
Therapy for adults, couples, and families ready to navigate, heal, and reclaim their lives from the impact of Childhood Relational Trauma
Realizing your childhood experiences have followed you into adulthood can be sobering and frustrating.
That the impact of a difficult or traumatic upbringing and dysfunctional family relationships is now showing up as insecure attachment, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, or chronic dysregulation — affecting your relationships, life satisfaction, and overall well-being.
And yet, that awareness is the first step to healing.
We specialize in Childhood Relational Trauma helping adults navigate and recover from the lasting impact of difficult, traumatic childhood experiences and dysfunctional family relationships.
If this resonates, then you are in the right place here at Kindred Counseling and Wellness. You're not behind, you're not too broken, and it's not too late. You're right on time and we’re so glad you are here.

Our Services
Meet Ronda
Hi, I’m Ronda and welcome to Kindred Counseling and Wellness! I am a licensed mental health therapist, certified yoga teacher, and the founder of KCW.
I specialize in helping adults navigate and recover from the lasting impact of difficult, harmful, or traumatic childhood experiences and dysfunctional family relationships.
Together, we'll heal emotional wounds, understand and break unhealthy patterns, and cultivate a more confident, regulated sense of self. For couples, we'll explore how each partner's attachment history shows up in the relationship to recognize and shift the conflict cycles that keep you stuck, guiding you towards a more emotionally safe and secure bond.
As your therapist, I hope to walk alongside you to encourage you, hold space for you, challenge you (we all need gentle accountability!), and equip you with the tools and self-awareness needed to create meaningful life changes.
Whether you’re seeking therapy, a support group, or professional services, learn more about my approach, background, and more below!
